Legion Pulse Pre Workout Review
A good pre workout will step up your game with any high intensity exercise or sport. Pre workouts are made to give you a huge energy boost, longer endurance, and increased muscle performance.
I didn’t expect much out of a pre workout made with natural ingredients. But after looking at the ingredients label, the numbers looked pretty impressive. This product receives some great customer ratings as well, so I was looking forward to trying this.
Tasting
For this review, I chose Blue Raspberry flavor. They do make 12 other flavors including a Caffeine free version.
I proceeded to mix a little bit more than a serving in my shaker with about 10 oz of water. I recommend to always start out with less of a serving the first time, but I’ve got a bit of a Caffeine tolerance.
The flavor was not overwhelming and the natural sugars were not overly sweet.
Warm Up
Within 25 to 30 minutes the Caffeine part of the powder started kicking in. Pre workout Timing is Important. I always take it about twenty minutes before I get to my gym, so I’m starting to feel the effects by the time I begin exercising.
Halfway through my warm up, the energy started kicking in. I could feel a little head tingling, which tells me the Amino Acid, Beta Alanine was working.
Dreaded Leg Day
Today I decided to hit the gym for my “dreaded” leg day to put Legion Pulse to the ultimate test.
Legion Pulse appeared to be working pretty well. During my heavy squats, it enabled me to recovery quicker between sets to have a more efficient workout. I could feel the Nitric Oxide boost as my muscles felt “pumped”.
It had me going harder, longer without fatiguing and even made my workout seem easier.
Cool Down
I generally begin winding down at about the 1 hour point, but I was still energized to keep going.
The pre workout provided me with more than enough energy for this intense workout.
I didn’t get any negative side effects, such as nausea or jitters. This can happen when taking to much or using a new product, especially one with a whopping 350mg.

CHECK CURRENT PRICE
Potential “Cons”
» The price. All natural ingredients cost more to produce. However, for a high grade product, it’s still under $2.00 per serving.
» 350mg of Caffeine may be way too much, especially if you are Caffeine intolerant. If this is the case, there is a Legion Pulse “Caffeine Free” Pre Workout version available.
Remember that if you don’t like Legion Pulse for any reason, you can return it for any reason within 30 days. This way you can try something else that works best for you.

Legion Pulse Ingredients
The Ingredients in this pre workout provide the energy, strength, endurance, motivation needed for your best performance. A good pre workout like this will even burn fat which leads to weight loss.
A few of the ingredients are slightly different than the conventional pre workouts but are very comparable, if not better than many others.
Caffeine Anhydrous
This is simply a form of dehydrated caffeine and is a major component in most pre workouts. It’s a natural stimulant that provides energy, focus and improves concentration.
Legion Pulse is on the high end with 350mg of Caffeine, so be sure to start out slow as this can give you side effects.
L-Theanine
An amino acid that increases the amount of Nitric Oxide for improved blood flow. It stabilized the effects of Caffeine and combines with it to help with memory performance, mood and to fight mental stress.
Citrulline Malate
Like L-Theanine, this Amino also increases Nitric Oxide production, but to a larger extent. Nitric Oxide improves endurance and muscle development. This improved blood flow benefits performance by supplying muscle tissue with more oxygen, minerals and hydration.
Beta Alanine
This a main Amino Acid component in most pre workout supplements. Beta Alanine gives you a longer workout duration.
It helps to reduce exercise fatigue, increase exercise capacity and make your work load seem easier. On I side note, it even minimizes the effects of aging.
Alpha-GPC
A nutrient that’s vital for brain function and health. It also increases power output and increases hormone levels.
Betaine
This producer gives a “cellular swelling” effect. The benefit is that this will protect cells from exercise-induced damage and helps to improve performance.
Non-Ingredients
No Artificial Sweeteners, Flavoring, Food Dyes, or Unnecessary Fillers. Stevia leaf extract for sweetener and red beet for color.

Recharge Post Workout
Legion also has a post workout recovery drink called Recharge Post Workout. “Recharge” will provide the nutrients that your body needs after exercise to repair your muscles.
It’s a 100% natural drink that boosts muscle growth, improves recovery, and reduces muscle soreness.
The most important ingredient in this for me is Creatine. Creatine is the most proven substance for muscle growth and recovery. Many athletes and bodybuilders will supplement this in addition to their protein powders because it works.
Whey+ Protein Powder
This is another top rated, quality supplement to add to your fitness pantry. Legion 100% Natural Whey Isolate protein powder can be used for muscle recovery, weight loss, or for adding significant amounts of nutrients to your diet.
It contains 22 grams of protein with an extremely low calorie, carb, and fat content. Because this is a pure isolate, it won’t cause gas or bloating as other whey powders can.
Like the other Legion products, this is an “all natural” whey protein with no artificial ingredients. For more protein supplements, see my review on the Best Natural Protein Powders.
Pulse Stimulant Free Pre Workout
If you get the jitters or anxiety sometimes and don’t want all of the Caffeine, try Legion Pulse Caffeine Free Pre Workout. It has all of the high strength ingredients of regular Pulse, except that it is stimulant free.

Legion Pulse Pre Workout Review Wrap Up
Legion Pulse Pre Workout exceeded my expectations, especially for an “all natural” pre workout. It gave me the added energy, increased strength and faster recovery between sets. The Caffeine and L-Theanine together supplied me with additional focus and motivation.
I’ll give Legion Pulse a thumbs up when performing any high intensity exercise. The full spectrum of natural Aminos in Pulse is what’s responsible for this increased muscle performance.
The Blue Raspberry flavor was on point, not too sweet and the texture was very mixable. Keep in mind that they have 12 other flavors. I especially like the fact that it doesn’t contain any artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.
