B-NOX Overview
I was first introduced to B-NOX by a good workout partner. He kept it in the hatchback of his SUV so he had it at all times. By the way that he raved about it, I thought that I should give it a try. Everyone reacts differently to each kind of pre workout, so I was still skeptical. Plus, I’ve grown accustomed to my favorites and I get set in my ways.
B-NOX pre workout reviews have been scarce out there, so I thought that it would be a great idea to look beyond the “Bull”. I will review the most important ingredients in B-NOX that make it an effective pre workout, my personal experience with this product, other people’s reviews, and the pros and cons and also how to take B-NOX pre workout effectively.
B-NOX Pre Workout Review
For my first workout with B-NOX Pre Workout, I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed to give me the edge that I usually look for. It didn’t keep me up all night(which is one of the most important things to me). Keeping this and several other things in mind, I decided to rate this pre workout supplement an 8.7 out of 10.
Why not a 10? The main reason is that I don’t believe that I have ever had a ten, and I’ve tried a lot of pre workouts over the years. But after taking B-Nox, I would have to say that it has some of the strongest ingredients available.
It mixes well and tastes great. I use 8oz of water in my shaker and gave it just a couple of shakes. I purchased the “Tropical Paradise”, and I would say the color looked pretty tropical. The taste was slightly sweet and flavorful, and I could not identify much of that familiar strong pre workout flavor.
B-NOX had the strength that I expect from a pre workout. I have been taking many supplements over the years and have a good sense of what a pre workout is doing to my body during a workout and how I am performing.
During my warm-up B-Nox started to kick in. By the time it fully activated, I was ready to begin my main workout routine. At about 30-40 minutes I was feeling the full effects.
I felt pumped and energetic like I should from a good pre workout kicking in. I stayed motivated through the entire workout and muscle fatigue never set in. For myself, it did not come with any side effects that I noticed like dizziness, nausea or anxiety. I was also able to sleep at night. This is very important since sleep is one of the best times for your body to build muscle.

B-NOX Pros
Starting with the pros, the price tag of around $30.00 is attractive for a great product in this category ($1 per serving). You can still find a decent pre workout for under $30, but sometimes it’s not all about price, but what works for you.
The fat burning blend is a definite benefit, especially in the B-Nox Ripped. I thought the amount of Caffeine was perfect for me. If I ever wanted more, I can always mix it stronger.
B-Nox is heavy on the Amino Acids, especially the BCAA’s (Branch Chain Amino Acids). B-Nox also states that it contains a testosterone ignition formula that stimulates testosterone production. Lastly, the Tropical Paradise flavor was fruity but a little plain. However, it was not overly sweet or flavored.
B-NOX Cons
I couldn’t find too many cons to this product. As I previously mentioned, you could find other pre workouts for less money if you were bargain shopping. I’m not sure if that would be worth saving the $5. Reading some online reviews, I found a couple of people complaining about the flavors. They said that it was tasteless and awful and that they returned it immediately. Mine tasted just fine.
One thing about taste is that I don’t like overly sweet anything, let alone my pre workouts. I would think that the two negative flavor reviews may have gotten an old batch. However, if for some reason the taste is not up to par, there is a 30 day satisfaction guarantee that you can return it for any reason.
If you are Caffeine intolerant or sensitive to it, B-Nox pre workout may be too strong for you. Too much Caffeine can cause anxiety, jitters or nausea. There are several great Caffeine Free Pre Workouts on the market.
B-Nox does contain a small amount of food coloring. If you are trying to stay away from this, you will want to choose an All Natural Pre Workout.

What Makes B-NOX Kick
Caffeine, of course, is one of the main ingredients in any pre workout. B-NOX does not overdo the quantity of it in its energy blend. It contains 200mg which is about average for a pre workout.
It is all personal preference and how your body reacts to it. The amount of stimulation will be a little higher than the Caffeine alone because of the ingredient Teacrine which is a natural stimulant.
They pride themselves on their fat burning blend that contains L-Carnitine Tartrate, Capsimax, Green Coffee Bean & GBB. These do also contain any stimulants.
L-citrulline is an amino acid that helps reduce fatigue associated with high intensity training. This amino generates nitric oxide in the blood which then gives you what is called vascularisation during your workout and helps with muscle growth.
Beta-alanine is a very effective ingredient for stamina and endurance. Beta-alanine removes acidity from your muscles during high intensity workouts. The head tingling that people sometimes experience from their pre workout is caused by this ingredient.
BCAAs or branch chain amino acids help with muscle growth, reduce exercise fatigue and decrease muscle soreness. BCAAs also have many other health benefits. For an additional thermogenic fat burn, try B-Nox Ripped or see my review on the Best Fat Burning Pre Workout Supplement.

Best Way to Take B-NOX Pre Workout
The directions are to take 1 scoop of pre workout with 8oz of water and mix it in a shaker. If you are new to this product, please follow these directions. Take your pre workout about 30 minutes before you exercise.
I usually take 1 1/2 scoops, add a little more water and then throw in a couple of ice cubes. I weigh 190lbs and take pre workout supplements on a regular basis, so this amount seems to work for me. Here is a picture to the right of my B-NOX that I just mixed up.
Don’t overdo it! Or you will pay for it with an extreme headache. Start out slow and work your way up.
I started feeling the effects of the B-NOX around the 20-30 minute mark. This is a satisfactory time frame, and what to expect. I usually take my pre workouts right before I leave the house, so I will start to feel the effects by the time I reach the gym.

The Bullish Conclusion
To wrap this up, I feel that B-NOX pre workout is a well rounded, affordable pre workout option. My B-NOX pre workout review points to a strong recommendation to give this one a go.
I tried this product first hand with great results. It had good taste, gave me that head tingle, that motivation and the energy. I didn’t suffer any of side effects that can happen with other pre workout supplements.
The pros outweighed the cons by a landslide. Remember that B-Nox also has another blend for Fat Burning called B-Nox Ripped to help you burn calories. After scouring the list of ingredients, I don’t see any products that have red flags as to not consume. If you have the chance, my recommendation would be to run with the B-NOX Bull!
