BSN N.O.-Xplode, Product Overview

I decided to put together a NO Xplode pre workout review based on the high customer ratings that this product receives.  I’ve never tried this pre workout before, only watching watched it from afar until now.   Since I always like to try new supplements, I thought this one should be next on my list.  For starters, N.O.-Xplode seems to have the right amount of the active ingredients such as caffeine and beta alanine.

These ingredients which I will discuss later, are a some key features seen in a good pre workout when used in enough proportion.  The price is right at well below $1 per serving.  It has an impressive package and the company prides itself on using the best ingredients and manufacturing requirements.

This pre workout is manufactured by Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition, Inc. or BSN.  They have been in this business since 2001 and have won many sports nutrition awards.  The product has a great reputation for helping trainers and athletes achieve their muscle building and energy goals.

I’m going to discuss the N.O.-Xplode ingredients, and discuss some of it’s pros and cons.  I’ll show you a couple of other products BSN carries that I recommend.   And of course, I will tell you what I think about it after trying N.O.-Xplode.

N.O.-Explode review

So I decided to start with a heaping scoop(1 serving) this time since this my first time with this product.  My usual pre workout takes about a scoop and a half.  I strongly recommend that you start with 1 serving whenever you try a new pre workout, not even a heaping scoop.  If you are not use to it, that could mean a severe headache, sleepless nights or a ration of other issues.

I usually take my pre workouts right before I leave the house, so they are kicking in right around the time I arrive at the gym.  The N.O.-Xplode started kicking in after about 20 minutes and then in full effect in about 30.  Try to take your pre workout on an empty stomach for the strongest and best results.pre-workout-pump

The caffeine kicked in hard, just how I like it.  The 275mg of caffeine is a pretty good amount for 1 serving.  This is a little more than the average amount for a pre workout.  I did feel energized and focused.  I felt that I was able to exercise harder and did not fatigue as much.  The credit to this goes to the beta alanine, which N.O.-Xplode brags on.

The N.O. in N.O.-Xplode stands for Nitric Oxide, which I could tell.  The nitric oxide makes you more vascular and increases the blood flow in both the muscles and the brain.  It gave me added energy and helped me push out that last rep.  With that extra push and strength comes an extra muscle pump which helps you break down more muscle fiber, therefore building up muscle growth.

The N.O-Xplode passed the test and now can go on my list of recommendations.

I’m not going to go into all of the active ingredients because I have already touched on a few, but there are a some honorable mentions.  An important ingredient is L Citrulline which is pictured in the N.O. Alpha Fusion box.

N.O.-Xplode is packed with it and for good reason, because this amino acid converts into the nitric oxide increasing performance by bringing more oxygen to your muscles  As I mentioned, nitric oxide is in their name…  “N.O”.

It is also loaded with B vitamins, so you can skip your vitamin B complex capsules.  The B vitamins give you energy and have other multiple purposes in your body.  These include Niacin, Thiamine and Folic Acid which are all B vitamins.

N.O.-Xplode is also packed with other amino acids which help build muscle among other things.  Lastly is Creatine which is pictured in the Myogenic Matrix box.  Creatine is a supplement that helps to gain muscle, enhance strength and improve exercise performance.  It is a key ingredient for both pre workouts and post workouts.

Possible cons

The only NO Xplode side effects that I can tell come from taking too much.  As I had mentioned earlier, taking too much can cause high blood pressure, nausea, headache and dizziness.  These effects are only temporary, but very uncomfortable.

So please, start of with the recommended serving size and work your way up from there,  If you take too much, you will end up not sleeping all night or worse.  I’ve done this too many times and don’t recommend it.

BSN, the company that manufactures N.O.-Xplode claims that “Our stringent ingredient and manufacturing requirements are best in class.  From the raw materials we select, to our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, this unrelenting commitment to superior quality ensures the safety and potency of every product we pro.

This sounds good, but nutritional supplements such as pre workout, post workout, etc are not FDA approved.  This is the case across the board with supplement brands, so it’s difficult to tell the manufacturing ethics from brand to brand.

I’m not sure how one would go about proving or disproving the above statement.  The only pre workouts that are supervised in the organic category, because they are under strict rules from the USDA Organic agency.

no-xplode-priceCheck out the BSN website at gobsn.com.   BSN represents many of athletes and bodybuilders on their “athletes” page.  Unfortunately, the are charging $50.99 for the same pre workout that is only $38.99 at the top of this review.

Honorable mentionsprotein-crisp-strawberry

Here is one of my favorites!   Protein Crisp Bar Strawberry Crunch.  I didn’t realize that BSN was the company that made these.  They taste like rice crispy treats!   And with 20g of protein.  You have to try them.  To the right is my stash with my favorite flavor, Strawberry.

Conclusion

I found N.O.-Xplode pre workout to be better that average, and I would personally recommend it.  I’ll happily finish up my container and then move on to another for a different brand review.  In closing, this pre workout had everything necessary in this supplement.

It provides the energy, the added endurance and strength to push out those extra reps.  This pre workout gavee me additional focus that actually made the time go fast, and it enabled me to workout for a longer period of time.

I was trying the Original Pre Workout Igniter, Re-Engineered which is the newest and only one out right now.  I have no idea what the original one was like, but I will recommend the this new version.  You should give it a try.  Keep in mind that you have 30 days to return it even if it’s been used, so there’s no reason not to try it out yourself.
