I’m always open to trying new, quality protein powders.  There aren’t too many on the market like Vega One that is high in protein, plant-based, and Organic.  This is why I decided it would be worth putting together this Vega One Protein Powder Review.

There are many proteins in the Vega product line, but the Vega One Organic All-In-One Shake caught my eye first.  Besides the concentrated plant proteins, this all-in-one powder contains superfood antioxidants and probiotics.

The second product that I gravitated towards is the Vega Sport Premium Protein.  Since strength and muscle recovery is important to me, it was impressive that this powder contains more protein per serving than most animal based protein powders.

This all-in-one Vega One Protein Shake is packed with plenty of vitamins, minerals, and Omega 3’s as well as probiotics and antioxidants.  The antioxidants come from the ingredients in cherry and carrot juice.

All of these nutrients make for a very healthy and well-rounded protein supplement.

Vega One is a mixed plant protein.  When blending different plant sources together, they will then contain all 21 Amino Acids.  These are necessary for muscle growth and recovery, healthy skin and nails, solid bone mass, and the list goes on.

This protein powder also contains a high amount of protein for a low number of calories.

Vega’s plant powered protein also contains 4 grams of fiber per serving with a low net carb count.  The fiber encourages weight loss because of its slower digestion.

Vega One Protein Powder Review

This is a very versatile protein powder, contains the qualities necessary for post workout muscle recovery, meal replacement, or for losing weight.  Besides the benefits of Vega One weight loss, these protein shakes also great for getting your additional nutrients on the go.

After reviewing the individual ingredients (which are listed below) and quantities, I believe that this protein powder contains the most benefits as any other in its category.

Taste and Mixability

I chose to try the Chocolate for my Vega Protein reviews test run.   My first thought is that I won’t be using this product for the taste (not great).

The natural Cocoa powder was effective in providing a decent chocolate flavor, but it did taste a bit “chalky”.  This is a familiar flavor in many protein powder supplements.  The powder had a strong smell of the added greens, but I couldn’t really taste them.

I’m not overly concerned with taste.  I would rather sacrifice bland taste over drinking artificially flavored ingredients.  However, I don’t think that I will be trying the “plain unsweetened” flavor anytime soon.

When mixing my protein powders, I tend to use unsweetened almond milk.  The powder mixed well to make my smooth Vega protein shake.

As I stated previously, Vega One Organic Protein Powder has a high price than many other powders.  However, I feel that it is well worth this for a quality Organic along with all of its bonus nutrients.

The price averages out to less than $3.00 per serving.  For 20 grams of protein with all of the added nutrients, this seems pretty reasonable.
