Best Place To Buy Pre Workout – Shop Till You Drop
Where is the best place to buy a pre workout? There are so many options and different ways to purchase pre workout supplements both online and offline these days. There are many more products available than ever before, and it is getting more and more confusing to make the correct decision on which one is right for you.
As a young fitness junkie, I remember only having the local GNC store to choose from. Even there the selection was limited. Now days the internet has given us the ability to search anywhere in the world and for millions of options. And there are brick and mortar stores on every corner.
This has led to indecisiveness and more difficult decisions due to having so many options. When we had less options, it was much easier to decide on supplements. Now we’ve got Traditional pre workouts, All Natural pre workouts, Organic pre workouts and even Vegan pre workouts.
Because I have years of experience in both using and purchasing nutritional supplements, I thought that I may be able to help to streamline your time and trouble in making purchasing decisions.
First I will be discussing buying tips, as well as the best places to purchase pre workouts both online and offline. This includes which stores have the best hassle-free pricing and the websites that are the easiest to work with. Lastly, I will discuss store return policies.
Purchase the Best Prices Online
The first recommendation is when you shop for your pre workout supplement, search more than one website. Try the big ones, Google Shopping, Amazon, Ebay, The Vitamin Shoppe, Bodybuilding online and Complete Nutrition.
There are so many options for purchasing your supplements online. A simple Google or Bing search would be a good start. Begin with “buy pre workout” and you will get several options. Some other options would be searching for “pre workout supplements for men“, “pre workout supplements for women“, “Caffeine Free pre workouts” or anything else that sets you apart.

Brick and Mortar Stores
Most nutritional stores like GNC or Vitamin Shoppe have a good selection of pre workouts including their house brand, which is basically a copy of ingredients from a national brand but less expensive. I just saw online that Vitamin Shoppe has $10 off on a $40 purchase.
In this case, the Vitamin Shop would probably be your least expensive option. There is an example to the right. These nutrition stores generally have a good return policy also. You might need this if you purchase one that keeps you up all night or makes you feel nauseous.
Amazon
One of the most popular options for purchasing supplements online is Amazon. They have a great selection, and the prices are fair. For some reason on Amazons price search you can only search for price ranges and not the actual price. Once you have selected for pre workouts, you can narrow down your search by brand, rating, things like sugar-free and flavor.
They do offer free shipping if you sign up for the Amazon Prime. However, the prime membership to receive this costs $15 per month. You may be able to find some other online stores with free shipping, but it will probably be regular ground. Besides that, Amazon doesn’t seem to have any discounts or rebates to offer.
Amazon carries millions of products worldwide. I have noticed that Amazon has a few brands that I have never heard of, as well as a few brands that I would like to get that they don’t carry. Either way, there to try out. You can also read many reviews to help you make your decision.
Amazons return policy is that you can ship it back within 30 days and they will give you a full refund. This is very important in case you are sensitive to the chemicals in the pre workout, or if it just does not work for you for any other reason.
Google Shopping
Google Shopping is nice for comparing prices with several online and offline stores. Just search for “buy pre workout”, and then use the shopping button right below the search bar. Scroll down and click on the product you are looking for, there is a list of local stores that carry it along with their prices. You can compare several stores and sites to find a cheaper price. Then you either proceed to the actual store to see it in person or make the purchase online.
Be careful though, the shipping prices can be tricky to verify. Don’t go for the best deal that doesn’t show the shipping price. The shipping prices for different products are kind of hidden.Ebay
Ebay is not always the most user-friendly site, but one thing that will make your Ebay shopping easier is to remember to click the box for “buy it now”. Otherwise, you are going to get Ebay auction items in your search. A nice option on Ebay is that in the left-hand column there is a box where you can type in not only the price range that you want to pay, but several other options to help you narrow your search down.
Purchasing Products Offline
A lot of people prefer to shop in stores. This way they feel more in control, and they can feel and touch the products. Luckily, most physical stores have great return policies such as 30 days or your money back.
I reiterate this because if a pre workout doesn’t work for you, why should you be taking it? If it gives you migraines or keeps you up at night, you can change it out for one that works for you. Try as many as you like.
My favorite store is Vitamin World. It has a great selection as well as their house brands (private label). I would not go to a Walmart or K-mart for pre workouts. These stores have a lot to offer when it comes to some things, but as far as supplement selections they don’t have much.
Another reason for purchasing pre workout at stores is to get a good look at the list of ingredients. Some online stores are not detailed enough to list the ingredients or show a picture of the back. I do recommend that you read the label.
Some pre workouts can have up to 400mg of Caffeine in a single serving. That’s too much for most people. I have a couple of posts on this site discussing more about the Caffeine in pre workout supplements.
Tips for Shopping Online
Look for the padlock symbol. This means that it is a secure website. Always use a secure internet connection when purchasing online, and don’t shop or pay online using a public network. Make sure to watch out for fake shopping apps.
When purchasing online, be sure to read the reviews. These will give you a good idea of what you’re getting. If you are not using one of the sites that we mentioned today, make sure that you check their return policy. Be very careful of hidden shipping costs. Thoroughly read the description of the product. Lastly, compare prices with more that one site and you may find some sales.
Best Place To Buy Pre Workout
Shopping online has become extremely easy and convenient. It can be done from anywhere at any time. All you need is a computer or phone, a decent internet connection and a credit card.
I recommend using the larger online stores for better safety and price. Be sure to read as many reviews as you want, good and bad. Keep your eye out for tricky shipping costs. Take advantage of the left hand column to narrow down your search as far as price, shipping, star reviews, brand, flavors, etc.
If you prefer to shop in a “brick and mortar” store, there is nothing wrong with shopping the old fashion way. I enjoy doing it myself. You can read, touch and feel all of the products. It also gives you the ability to look at all of the prices at the same time.
I hope that you picked up some tips for the next time you purchase pre workout supplements online or offline. Just make sure you check on their return policy before purchasing. Don’t be afraid to return your pre workout for any reason, and try as many as you want since everyone’s body can react differently to a pre workout.
